Overview: Undertile Membrane are precision-formed roof tiles manufactured to ensure consistent profile, weather resistance and long-term colour stability.

Manufacturing process

• Material selection: Ceramic/clay or composite materials are selected for UV stability and durability.
• Shaping: Tiles are pressed or extruded into profile shapes (Double Roman, etc.) to ensure interlocking and water-shedding performance.
• Glazing & surface finish: Where applicable tiles receive protective coatings to reduce algae growth and sustain colour integrity.
• Accessories: Ridges, hip starters and undertile membranes are manufactured to complement tile systems and enhance waterproofing.

Packing & shipping

• Tiles are boxed and palletised with soft interleaving between layers to avoid abrasion.
• Selected accessories such as tapered ridges and hip starters are boxed separately and labelled.
• Membranes are rolled and treated to prevent creases during overseas shipment.

Installation notes

• Follow manufacturer’s fixing recommendations, batten spacings and underlay details.
• Use compatible flashings and ridge systems to ensure warranty compliance.
• Store tiles dry and flat prior to installation.
